Supercharge Wi-Fi

America Deserves A Wi-Fi Upgrade

Wi-Fi frees our devices from cords and allows us to access information anywhere. But with more connected devices than ever, America’s Wi-Fi airwaves are getting crowded. It’s time to supercharge Wi-Fi so it can keep up with our growing demand. That’s why we’re calling on policymakers at the FCC to dedicate more spectrum for Wi-Fi use.

More Spectrum, Supercharged Wi-Fi

The Internet is Growing,
Our Wi-Fi Should Grow With It

Spectrum, the radio frequencies that power Wi-Fi, is necessary to keep up with the billions of devices and gigabit technologies that will place massive loads on our Wi-Fi in the future.

Policymakers at the FCC can act now and dedicate more spectrum for Wi-Fi use. In doing so, they will help to usher in a new generation of Wi-Fi,  available to more devices at faster speeds.

Here’s what you need to know:

• 76% of North American broadband households use Wi-Fi as their primary connected technology.
• U.S. households own an average of 11 connected devices, with that number projected to grow to 13.6 by 2023.
• By 2023, Wi-Fi will have contributed approximately $993 billion dollars to the U.S. economy.
